HEAD OF antares total return & PORTFOLIO MANAGER

James is responsible for oversight and management of the Antares Total Return strategy. His responsibilities include investment research and managing client and advisor relationships. James joined BCV in 2026.  He started his career in the financial services industry in 2016 having previously worked as an Assistant Vice-President and Portfolio Manager at a large investment firm where he was involved in portfolio construction decisions focused on equity and option mandates. James earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Manitoba in 2010, his Masters in Business Administration from the Ivey School of Business in London in 2015 and earned his Chartered Financial Analyst® designation in 2019.

 Outside of the office James enjoys spending time golfing and traveling. He serves as the Chairman of Autism Dog Services, an Ontario based nonprofit that raises guide dogs for people living with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
