Chris Chernecki, CFA

PORTFOLIO MANAGER

Chris is responsible for research and managing client and advisor relationships. His research focuses on financials and real estate. Chris joined BCV in 2021. He started his career in financial services in 1998 and most recently worked at an institutional asset manager with a focus on real estate. Chris earned his Bachelor of Commerce degree (Honours) from the University of Manitoba in 1997, and the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation in 2010.

Chris is married and the father of three girls. In his free time, he enjoys playing hockey, camping and spending time with family and friends. He volunteers as a Board member for Canada Pension and Benefits Institute and sits on the Investment Committee for the Shevchenko Foundation.
