Ricardo Melo, CFA

PORTFOLIO MANAGER

Ricardo, working with a team of three, manages the Antares Total Return portfolios. His responsibilities include investment research and communicating with clients and financial advisors. He has worked in different capacities in the financial services industry since 2008, starting his career in banking at some of Canada’s largest financial institutions. Ricardo joined BCV (previously Antares Investment Management) in 2015 as an Investment Analyst and became a Portfolio Manager in 2017. He graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in International Business from the University of Manitoba in 2007, and earned his Chartered Financial Analyst® designation in 2014.

Ricardo is the father of two young boys and enjoys coaching their baseball and soccer teams.
