Administrative Associate
Nelson Financial Consultants is a wholly owned subsidiary of BCV Asset Management Inc, that provides financial planning, portfolio management and insurance services to high net-worth families.
As an integral member of this dynamic team, the Administrative Associate will be a critical contact person for our clients and will support the day-to-day operational activities of each of our three key areas of Financial Planning, Portfolio Management & Insurance. Tasks, Role & Responsibilities
Insurance:
Supporting basic and intermediate insurance administration tasks, including setting up client files, updating them with annual statements, and coordinating administrative tasks such as banking, beneficiary and ownership changes.
Set up client meetings and monitor insurance company websites for timely service issues.
Communicate and act as a liaison between the advisor, the insurance company and the client regarding meetings, requests and support.
Financial Planning:
This is a project management role, working with the financial planning team in the management of financial planning administration tasks and juggling many active financial planning files at various stages to the planning process.
Setting up client files, interacting with clients in the collecting and storing of client information and coordinating client meetings with financial planners.
Preparing and proofing finished plans, and managing the database.
Portfolio Management:
Plays a key role in the client meeting workflow process, keeping client files updated, and managing portfolio related documents for client portfolios.
Assist in quarterly statements and client reporting mail outs. Experience with HTML is a plus.
Special projects and additional responsibilities as the role grows and evolves.
The Ideal Candidate:
Experience in financial services, especially within an advisory or wealth management office, is highly preferred.
Friendly, proactive and positive with a penchant for a high level of customer service.
Tech savviness with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Dynamics.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, professional demeanor along with solid organizational qualities.
Proven analytical, planning and time management skills.
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently while collaborating effectively within a high-performance team.
