CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER & PORTFOLIO MANAGER

Tony founded BCV in 2007 and is responsible for strategic leadership of the firm. In addition, he holds portfolio management duties, performs capital markets research, and is the firm’s Chief Compliance Officer. Tony has worked in the financial services industry since 1990, most recently as Senior Vice-President and Portfolio Manager at a leading Canadian investment management firm. Prior to that, he was a Senior Financial Consultant with MD Management Limited, a wealth management firm dedicated exclusively to physicians. Tony earned his Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the University of Manitoba in 1988 and his Master of Business Administration from McMaster University in 1990. He is a Certified Investment Manager, a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute, and earned the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation in 1996.

Tony is married and the father of two sons who are now young adults. He and his wife enjoy warm climates in winter, Italian culture, and their two dogs. Tony is an avid reader and a fan of country music.
