Client Accounts:
Client assets are always held in the name of the client by a trusted third-party custodian- National Bank Independent Network (a division of National Bank Financial Inc.) or Credential Qtrade Securities Inc. This account structure ensures that the client always retains direct ownership of their assets and that these assets are always held independent of BCV Asset Management’s corporate assets.
Client Reporting:
Clients receive monthly statements, transaction confirmations and year-end tax reporting on dividends and interest income from the third-party custodian. Clients receive quarterly portfolio statements and performance information from BCV Asset Management.
Management Fees:
BCV Asset Management charges a management fee for the investment and administration of a client’s Separately Managed Account. These management fees are charged quarterly in arrears, based on the market value of Assets Under Management on the final business day of the quarter.
Management Fees are charged quarterly, in arrears.
BCV Asset Management requires a minimum of 400 thousand dollars of investible assets to provide these services. This threshold can be reached by combining the total value of investible assets across multiple accounts from a single household.
Transaction Fees:
BCV Asset Management settles all transactions through our trusted third-party custodians- National Bank Independent Network (a division of National Bank Financial Inc.) or Credential Qtrade Securities Inc. We earn no fees or commission income from these transactions.
A current schedule of the transaction fees and custodial fees charged by our third party custodians is available upon request.
